This past weekend, I celebrated my 25th birthday and it was a BLAST! A quarter of a century has gone by, and it’s been an exhilarating ride so far. In the weeks leading up to my birthday, I found myself thinking of all of the people who have helped me get to where I am today in both my personal and professional life. People who have shaped me into who I am – instilled values, helped me develop character, and learn important things about the world and about myself.
To show my gratitude, I made a list of the most influential 25 people in my life, and I sent them each a card in the mail explaining how and why they have touched my life and how thankful I am to know them.
I inserted a small paper explaining the meaning of the card – here’s what it said: As I celebrate my 25th birthday, I couldn’t help but think about all of the amazing people in my life who have helped me get to where I am today. You are receiving this card because you are one someone who has impacted my life in a positive way. You have helped me grow up, taught me life lessons, laughed with me and shared countless memories. I am so grateful to have you in my life and I hope to continue this tradition with each milestone I have, adding more people to the list as I go. XO, Becca
Below are some shots of the card that was sent. We printed them in navy ink on a milkweed textured cover stock, gilded the edges in gold metallic ink and placed them into mint green envelopes lined in a rich navy.
