You want to make sure that guests have an easy time moving through the space of your wedding venue and that they can easily identify where they will be seated for the reception. This is where escort cards and seating charts come into play.
What is the difference between escort cards and seating charts? Great question!
Escort Cards are traditionally little cards with the guest’s name and table number printed on them. Guests can find their card at the entrance of the reception location, then find their corresponding table number and place setting.
Seating Charts are larger displays with all guests and table numbers listed.
Both are two great options for helping your guests find their seats and offer a lot of room for creativity! Escort cards can be anything from beautiful pieces of paper to sunglasses, mini pumpkins or even tiny flower pots.
Seating charts can be printed on cute chalk boards, glass panes, or even placed inside of vintage picture frames.
